Services & Fees

During your first visit, we will spend between 60 - 75 minutes reviewing your medical and psychiatric history. It is important you bring any current medication you are prescribed to your first appointment. As we begin a course of treatment, we will choose a frequency of meetings appropriate for medication changes/adjustments. Follow up appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. Some patients see me for 50 minute medication management/therapy sessions.

Once your initial appointment has been confirmed, I will email you a series of new patient forms to complete your registration. Please complete these via the secure patient portal 24 hours before our meeting time.

The email server that I use at Sea Psychiatry is HIPAA compliant.

FEES & INSURANCE

While I do not take insurance, I will provide you with a Superbill (a statement listing the dates, service codes and payments made). This can be submitted for reimbursement to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits.

My sliding scale panel is currently full. Please inquire about future openings.

Psychiatric Intake, 60-75 min: $550

Follow Up, 30 min: $300

Combination Therapy/Med Management, 50 min: $450

Cancellation Policy: Initial evaluations cancelled less than 48 hours and not rescheduled incur a full fee for cancellation. Follow up appointments cancelled less than 48 hours/not attended before the scheduled time incur a full fee. A 10 min grace period is permitted and late arrivals after that time will be considered a ‘no-show’. A pattern of missed appointments may result in termination of provider-patient relationship. Please contact me 48 hours prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule.

Medical attestations and forms required for accommodations may incur an additional fee.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE - Notice to patients and prospective patients:

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
